Huggies vs. Pampers for Newborns

For those that do not have the time to worry about washing newborn baby cloth diapers, disposable diapers like Huggies and Pampers are a good alternative.

The question many have though is what brand of newborn diapers is better, Pampers or Huggies. Both Pampers and Huggies are two of the most popular brands, though they are not the only brands. Many times, the hospital that your newborn baby is born in will have either one brand of the newborn diapers or the other. The hospital where my baby was born in used Pampers newborn diapers.

Both Pampers and Huggies are excellent options. Before getting baby cloth diapers for my newborn, I tried newborn diapers from Pampers and Huggies. Basically, I looked for whatever kind of newborn diapers was on sale, and whatever newborn diapers for which I had coupons. Pampers newborn diapers have an indicator letting you know when your baby wets his diaper. Huggies also have this option in some of the newborn diapers.

My newborn baby experienced some leaking problems with Huggies newborn diapers, but I know of others that had no problems with the Huggies brand. The Pampers diapers worked very well for my newborn baby son, and they generally were free of leaks. Regardless of the brand you choose, both Pampers and Huggies are excellent options of disposable diapers for your baby. It’s best to look for discounts or coupons to help you save money, and decide which newborn diapers you want to use from there.
